A GTW GP38-2 assists CN train 509 to the former EJ&E Kirk Yard. This train came onto the line at Griffith, Indiana via a new connection installed by CN, connecting the former GTW to the fomer EJ&E. This train ened up in emergency a few seconds after this shot was taken due to this locomotive suffering from brake failure. The yard master of Kirk Yard told train 509 they didn't want this locomotive here and for them to send it to Markham Yard to be repaired. |
