I am a professional photojournalist who has been documenting railroad scenes in the states of Michigan, Indiana and Illinois for over a decade. I have been a frequent contributor to the railroad magazines of TRAINS and CTC Board (now Railroads Illustrated) over the years. I am the former Editor for the Michigan Association of Railroad Passengers' news publication The Michigan Passenger; a publication reporting on passenger rail operations (Amtrak, excursions, stations, etc.) in the state of Michigan.

Not all of my photo work posted here is just of Amtrak or passenger rail related trains. I also enjoy photographing the freight railroads of CSX, Norfolk Southern, BNSF, Union Pacific and many more too. Majority of my photos posted here are of trains passing through the Lower Peninsula of Michigan, northern Indiana and the suburbs of Chicago.
